Danube Day 2018 in Montenegro

Montenegro celebrates Danube Day 2018 with a festival at the breathtakingly beautiful Crno jezero (Black Lake) in the Durmitor National Park. Located close to Zabljak, come along on July 16th to be inspired, informed and entertained. Join us for boating on the lake, organic food, an ecological art exhibition and educational activities for the very youngest Danube Basin residents. The event is organised by
the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with the Zabljak Tourist Organisation.
Date: Monday 16th July 2018

If you’re aged 6-18 years and love your rivers, don’t miss the chance to enter this year’s Danube Art Master competition. The annual 14-country art extravaganza tasks children to create 3D artworks made from found riverside materials. Alternatively, you can make a 1-minute video on your ideas for sharing and protecting your local river. For details on how to enter, contact Vanja Krgović-Šarović of the Zabljak Tourist Organization, organisers of the competition in Montenegro (in association with the Ministry of Agriculture). Creators of the best artworks will go on to the international Danube Art Master final later in the year.
