Whether you are part of a school, a company or other organisation, or just an active individual, your participation will make a difference! Danube Day is about people getting involved, celebrating their rivers and realising that they can help create a positive future for the Danube Basin. It gets people thinking about rivers and how their own actions impact others. It is this sense of shared responsibility and empowerment that will help solve future problems.

The programme includes public festivals; conferences; competitions; aquatic adventures; awareness raising actions; river clean-ups and fun youth events.
